Dig out your set of golf clubs from your closet, garage or shed and dust them off because golf season is officially going to start very soon.

The Hillcrest Golf Club announced Monday morning that they will open their course to the public on this Saturday, with tee times starting at 8 a.m.

According to club manager and pro Trevor McPherson, the course is looking “really good” even though the official opening is not for another five days.

“It wintered well, the root system is better than it was last year, we’re in better position that last year,” said McPherson. “We would have been open probably sooner if we didn’t have that cold snap.”
