Defenceman Ryan Stanton scored twice as the Moose Jaw Warriors hung on to beat the Chilliwack Bruins 3-2 in Western Hockey League action Saturday.
Dylan Hood also scored for the Warriors (31-24-5-4) who took a 3-0 lead into the first period intermission.
Jamie Crooks and Roman Horak replied with second period goals for the Bruins (29-31-1-5) who finished their East Division road swing with a 3-3 record.
Jeff Bosch made 33 saves for the Warriors as he won his third straight start.
Lucas Gore stopped 27 shots for the Bruins.
The Warriors picked up seven out of a possible eight points during their four-game home stand. That gives the Warriors a six-point lead over Prince Albert in the battle for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
