For the second time in five days the Moose Jaw Warriors took one on the chin in Brandon.
The Wheat Kings beat the Warriors 8-2 Wednesday in Western Hockey League. Last Friday the Wheat Kings won 9-2 at Westman Place.
Clinton Atkinson scored his first goal of the season for the Warriors to briefly cut the lead to 2-1. The Wheat Kings scored six straight goals before Jason Bast netted his 31st goal of the season.
Brayden Schenn scored twice and added four assists for the Wheat Kings, while Matt Calvert has two goals and three assists. Aaron Lewadniuk also scored twice. Scott Glennie scored once and had three assists while Colby Robak added a goal and two assists.
The Warriors were being out-shot 39-12 after two periods.
Brandon Glover made 44 saves in the loss. Jacob DeSerres made 21 saves for the Wheat Kings.
