AAA Warriors change their name to the Generals

The Moose Jaw AAA Warriors are changing their name and changing their look.

The team will be called the Moose Jaw Generals beginning with the 2010-11 Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League season.

The Generals were named in honour of the former Moose Jaw senior men’s team of the same name who won the 1984-85 Hardy Cup — the national senior “AA” ice hockey championship.

The AAAs are also going back to the Generals old jerseys that feature a red, white and blue and star motif of the old Washington Capitals jerseys.
