Moose Jaw Warriors

The Moose Jaw Warriors have been “saluting” the youth of the city all season by inviting students from different area schools to enjoy a home game at Mosaic Place.

The Warriors are now extending this unique opportunity to all Moose Jaw minor hockey teams in the Initiation, Novice, Atom and Pee Wee divisions to attend a home game as a way to “salute” the minor hockey players in the city.

All minor hockey players will receive a free ticket, courtesy of the Warriors and parents are $20 per ticket. All teams and coaches have received a ticket form that players and parents must fill out in order to attend the game.  All order forms are due by this Friday (Jan. 27) in order to get their free ticket to the game.

“Players are encouraged to wear their team uniforms and prizes will be given out to the loudest teams, “ said Kelly Remple, Chairman of the Salute to Minor Hockey in Moose Jaw. “It will be lots of fun!”

Dates of the home games include Feb. 17 with the Warriors hosting the Medicine Hat Tigers while “saluting” the Initiation and Novice teams. The other game will be on Feb. 25 with the Swift Current Broncos visiting the Warriors as they “salute” the Atom and Pee Wee teams.

“I can’t wait to look out across beautiful Mosaic Place at these games and see players, coaches and parents of Moose Jaw minor hockey cheering on their Warriors — wearing their jerseys and having a great time,” said Remple. “We could never have done a promotion like this at the old Civic Centre. These kids and their coaches deserve a special night and the Warriors have delivered.”

For more information, all minor hockey teams should contact their coaches or coordinators.
