A trio of Moose Jaw Generals were named to the Saskatchewan Under-16 team for the Western Canada U16 Hockey Challenge. Defenceman Shane Collins from Rosetown along with Rykr Cole (Moosomin) and Regan Nagy (Ogema) were named to the final 20-man roster.

Former Moose Jaw Warriors assistant coach Trevor Weisgerber will be an assistant on the U16s, while Darwin Hazell will be the video coach.

The four-team tournament was hosted by Moose Jaw last year. This year it will take place in Calgary from Nov. 1-4.
