Cuddy of Blue Rodeo and some members of the Devin Cuddy Band laced up their skates on Tuesday afternoon at the Wally B Arena to play some afternoon hockey.

Lindsay Tolley, a doppleganger of Cuddy, has been trying to arrange a game of hockey for years and the pieces finally came together.

Cuddy always travels with his gear and enjoys skating before a show.

Blue Rodeo is Tolley's favourite band and both share a passion for hockey, so having a game was an easy decision.

Blue Rodeo will play Mosaic Place tonight at 8 p.m.

Check back later for a the full story.
