The Moose Jaw Junior Mustangs were searching for a provincial box lacrosse title in Saskatoon this weekend. The Mustangs lost both of their Prairie Gold Lacrosse League playoff games to finish fourth in the league.

The Mustangs lost 6-4 to the top-seeded Prince Albert Predators in the PGLL semifinal.

In the third place game they lost 10-6 to the Regina Riot.

The Saskatoon Smash won the provincial title with an 8-5 overtime win over the Predators.
