Moose Jaw - Grey skies are going to clear up so Moose Jaw can put on a happy face - according to Environment Canada.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Dave Carlson said it is time to give sore backs a break and put the snow shovels away - at least for a week or two.
With the exception of Thursday, the rest of the week is full of blue skies and warmer temperatures, said Carlson.
"We have got a (temperature of) 1 C for Friday. However that could be a little optimistic. But who knows it could be right. Let's just say it is going to be around zero."
Carlson said either way the temperatures are well above normal. The norm is a high of -9 and a low of -19.
After the weekend, he said temperatures are expected to drop, but only by a few degrees and will continue to sit above normal.
As for all the snow that recently accumulated around the city, Carlson attributes it to an unusual progression of systems called Alberta clippers.
