Two local brothers brought home a trio of western Canadian motocross titles this past weekend.
Kyle and Jarret Biro had a great weekend of racing at the at the Western Canadian Amateur Motorsports Championships at Temple Hill Motorcycle Park in Raymond, Alta.
Kyle Biro, 11, competed in the 10-11 year-old 65cc class and the 7-11 year-old 85cc class. A race was held each day for three days and Kyle won both races every day to win both championships. Kyle’s dominance was such that he won his closest race by 25 seconds.
Brother Jarret Biro also brought home a title. Jarret — who has turned 10, but competes as a nine year old — raced in the 65cc 7-9 year-old class where he won two races and finished second which was good enough to finish first overall.
Jarret also competed in a huge 7-11 year-old 85cc class. Jarret competed on a 65cc bike and finished 17th and just missing his goal of a top-15 finish.
They weren’t the only area competitors who took part in Raymond.
