Wayne and Elaine Cozart of Brownlee took their heavy horses to the Weyburn Agricultural Fair July 2-4 and came home with prize money, seven first-place ribbons, eight second place ribbons, three third place finishes and one fourth place result.

Wayne and Elaine Cozart of Brownlee took their heavy horses to the Weyburn Agricultural Fair July 2-4 and came home with prize money, seven first-place ribbons, eight second place ribbons, three third place finishes and one fourth place result.
First places were achieved for farm chunk, mare or gelding, halter, three years and over; junior cart class, boy or girl, 18 years and under; light draft team to wagon; draft horse showmanship, boys or girls, 15-18 years; draft team driven by boy or girl, 18 years and under; draft team driven by a lady; and farm chunk to wagon.
Second place finishes were recorded in farm chunk, mare or gelding, halter, three years and over; light draft, mare or gelding, halter, three years and over; cart class, ladies fancy dressed, single mare or gelding hitched to a suitable rig; registered team of mares; unicorn hitch; four-horse hitch competition; and four-horse hitch.
The Cozart horses placed third in registerd mare, three years and over; draft horse showmanship, 15 to 18 years; light draft, mare or gelding, halter, three years and over.
The fourth place finish came in the class for registered mares, three years and over.
Cozarts were accompanied by their granddaughters, Lacey and Kim McNutt who helped in the stalls and participated in the classes.
