The Peacock Toilers girls volleyball team saw their great run end just shy of a provincial medal Saturday.

The Toilers lost the bronze medal game at the SHSAA 5A girls provincial volleyball final 2-0 (27-25, 25-21) to Saskatoon Marion Graham.

LeBoldus beat Regina Campbell 2-0 (25-19, 25-23) in the final. It was a rematch of the Regina city final a week earlier.

The Toilers lost the semifinal 2-0 (25-23, 25-19) to LeBoldus. They finished third in their pool after losing to LeBoldus and Marion Graham in Saturday's pool games. They knocked off Saskatoon St. Joseph 2-0 (25-15, 25-22) in the quarter-final.

Central lost 2-0 (25-18, 25-14) to Weyburn in their final pool game. Those two teams, along with North Battleford Comp., finished tied with 1-3 records, but Central lost the tiebreaker and failed to advance to the quarters.
