The Sask Cup #1 volleyball tournament for the Under 17 Women was held in Yorkton over the weekend.

It was an all Regina final with the Regina Volleyball Club defeating the Regina QCVC team in the Tier 1 gold medal match. The Wakaw Warriors took the Tier 1 bronze after defeating the Saskatoon Serious Impact club in three sets.

In the Tier 2 final, the South Quest Raiders defeated Saskatoon JCVC Extreme club in two sets for the gold medal. The Yorkton Blitz claimed the bronze medal with a win over the Regina QCVC Black team.

The Moose Jaw Element Panthers finished fifth in the Tier 2 division.

The next tournament will be held Mar. 9-10 in Saskatoon.

The Sask Cup #1 volleyball tournament for the Under 18 Men was held in Saskatoon over the weekend as well.

The Saskatoon Huskie U17 defeated the Swift Current Junior Sundogs in two sets to win the gold medal. The Regina Volleyball Club 18U Gold defeated the Saskatoon JCVC Papayas in the third place match.

The Moose Jaw Element team finished seventh overall in the final standings at the tournament.

The next cup with be help Mar. 16-17 in Nipawin.
