It was an up and down weekend for the Briercrest Clippers against the SAIT Trojans.

In Calgary, the men's and women's volleyball teams splits their two game series with SAIT while the hockey team was swept aside in a pair of meetings.
Meanwhile, Briercrest's men's and women's basketball teams suffered a pair of losses in Caronport to the Trojans.
The Briercrest women's volleyball team, who entered the week ranked four nationally, lost in four sets (25-23, 13-25, 23-25 and 22-25) to eighth ranked SAIT on Friday.
They bounced back with a four-set win on Saturday (25-23, 19-25, 25-23 and 27-25) to improve to 13-3 in ACAC play this season.
Both games between the Briercrest and SAIT men's volleyball teams went right to the wire.
On Friday, the Clippers prevailed in five sets (25-23, 23-25, 22-25, 25-22 and 15-11) but dropped a five-set rematch on Saturday (27-25, 25-13, 14-25, 22-25 and 13-15) as their record dropped to 6-10.
The Clippers hockey team (2-20) weren't as fortunate in their meetings with the Trojans as they suffered a 10-4 loss on Friday and were shutout 6-0 a day later.
Jacob Baribeau and Taylor Epp each had a goal and an assist on Friday. Josh Anderson and Josiah Friesen also scored in the loss.
Back at home, the Briercrest men's basketball team saw their record fall to 2-9 after a 82-75 loss on Friday and a 93-82 setback to SAIT on Saturday.
Ethan DaSilva led the way for the Clippers with 18 points on Friday and 17 points on Saturday.
The Briercrest women's basketball squad also have a 2-9 record after losing a pair of games at home this weekend to SAIT.
Amy Wanvig was the leading scorer on Friday as she had 17 points in Briercrest's 73-55 loss. Sara Karuth had 15 points in Saturday's 83-59 setback.
Both basketball teams will be on the road this weekend to play Olds College. The volleyball teams will also be out of town to take on Red Deer College.
The Briercrest men's hockey team will be in Caronport on Friday and Saturday to take on Grant MacEwan University.
