If you are not talking about the weather these days, this must be your first summer in Saskatchewan and you had no idea what to expect.
The cool - some days cold - weather is unseasonal for those who have lived here for any length of time. Saskatchewan residents are used to extremes - cold winters and hot summers. This year we seem to have got stuck on cold to cool for the most part.
There are advantages: cooler nights for sleeping, less risk of heat or sun stroke, able to work longer outside, using less water on the lawn and garden, lower risk of grass fires, etc. But on the other side, summer is already too short in this part of the world and giving any of it up to autumn-like weather seems quite unfair.
There is some hope. One meteorologist says we can expect better weather by Labour Day. Too late.
This is summer?

Too bad the evenings make you feel you are in a trailer park and not your HOME. TOO much smoke in the outside air to appreciate cooling off ones home without having to use an air conditioner!!

I heard the smoke outdoors at night is just to get people ready for the Diesel smell down at the new multiplex during hockey games. Good planning!

I live within a few blocks of the multiplex site & there are many evenings where the air is quite gross smelling, diesel fumes, bubblies when the wind is right, MJ asphalt

Stan, you can't be serious. With all the businesses at the downtown location and the those who patronize those businesses I've yet to hear anyone complain about or then again notice any diesel smell. Ooops except for you stan. Or are you just trying to be funny?
