The Moose Jaw Rusty’s fastball team brought home silver medals from the recent Saskatchewan Senior’s Fitness Association’s 55-Plus Games.

The local co-ed fastball team finished with a 4-1 record in the six-team round robin.

They opened with a 12-0 mercy rule win over Saskatoon and followed that with a 20-8 win over Melville. The following day they had a very close 4-3 win over the Regina Gems that featured a walk-off hit to end the game.

Later they suffered their only loss of the tournament — 10-4 to the Regina Renegades — before beating Peeceville 19-6 to claim the silver medals.
