Women's fastball series to resume Thursday

The two Moose Jaw Senior Women’s Fastball League semifinal playoff games scheduled for Wednesday were rained out. The series will resume with both Game 2s played Thursday at 7 p.m.

The KCS Marketing Slammers lead their series with the Relics 1-0 and the Park Hotel Colts lead the Hustlers 1-0.

If a deciding third game is needed in either series it is expected it will be played at 9 p.m. on Diamond 1 at Caribou Heights. If both series require a third game, it is unclear when they both will be played since there are lights on only one of the two Caribou Heights diamonds.

The Intermediate B provincial championships — which feature the Colts, Hustlers and Slammers — begin Friday afternoon.
