Mayor doesn't expect to return to work until August

The good news is he has become much more mobile over the past couple weeks. The bad news is his recovery is slow and he doesn't expect to return to city hall until August.
"It's been a lot longer than anticipated," said Mayor Dale McBain, who was at his Moose Jaw home recovering from heart surgery on March 17.
Despite suffering a mild stroke during surgery this past winter, the 62-year-old mayor managed to regain damaged motor and speech skills in a relatively short period of time.
