Tessa Hill just graduated from Peacock Collegiate, but she can't wait to enroll at East High.
The Moose Jaw figure skater will join the cast of Disney On Ice's High School Musical next week as she begins her career as a professional skater.
"I've been working towards it for quite a few years now and it's really exciting that it's actually happening and all of the work paid off," said Hill.
High School Musical is Disney's newest ice show and follows the massively popular High School Musical movies set at the fictional East High in New Mexico.
Hill has signed a nine month contract and will fly to Memphis next week to begin rehearsing for the fall and winter tour this year.

Hill knows fellow Saskatchewan figure skaters Kristin Bonkowski who performed with Disney On Ice last year as well as Kristin Winter who was with the company for years. Bonkowski helped her prepare her application.
"I made a video that had my skate from junior nationals on it and my skate from the Moose Jaw Ice Show on it. I sent that in with my resumÉ and an application form," said Hill who sent it in on a Friday and e-mailed them to make sure they received it. Disney replied right away - offering her a job.
"It was pretty shocking. I wasn't expecting that e-mail, I was just expecting them to say that they got the package," said Hill.
There was a lot of hard work to reach her goal and the hard work will continue immediately.
