The Peacock Tornadoes split a pair of games in Moose Jaw High School Soccer League play Saturday afternoon.

The Tornadoes opened with a 9-0 win over Estevan as Amy van den Hooven scored four goals. Jessica Williams added three goals and Meghan Kardash had two more for the Tornadoes.

 

In the late game, the Tornadoes pressed Weyburn for much of the second half, but came out on the losing end of a 4-3 score.

 

Williams, van den Hooven and Kayla Bugg scored for Peacock. Paige Van De Sype scored three times for Weyburn, while Julie Ursu had the other Eagles goal.

 

In other action Swift Current beat Estevan 15-0 and beat Weyburn 5-0.
