Tornadoes blank Cougars in high school soccer action

The Peacock Tornadoes fought off a fierce wind and the Caronport Cougars to post a 4-0 win in Moose Jaw High School Soccer League play Tuesday night.

Amy van den Hooven scored a pair of goals for the Tornadoes while Jessica Williams and Josie Phillips also scored.

The Tornadoes debuted Mayson Bernt, a new Grade 9 goalkeeper. Bernt had experience in goal and she had a strong performance as she posted the shutout.
