It’s spring cleaning for a good cause.
The Moose Jaw Soccer Association is asking local residents to donate old soccer equipment to their seventh annual used soccer sale & swap on April 24 from 9 a.m. to noon at Home Building Centre.
“We all know how fast kids grow . . . so here’s your chance to get rid of those outgrown shoes and equipment cluttering up your garage or basement, pick up some gently used ones at great prices and help support a great cause at the same time.” says Willard Hasmatali, President of the Moose Jaw Soccer Association.
The MJSA is asking the community to donate their old, outgrown soccer equipment — be they indoor shoes, outdoor cleats, shin guards, goalkeeper gloves.
All proceeds from the event are directed to a designated fund used to enable kids in Moose Jaw the chance to play soccer regardless of their financial situation.
