15 Wing off to Finals

The soccer club from 15 Wing Moose Jaw completed an upset in the semifinals against the first place team CFB Shilo, earning their spot in the final game on Sunday.

After losing to Shilo 2-0 on Friday in the last game of the round robin, 15 Wing exacted revenge with a 3-0 win and will play the winner of CFB Edmonton and 17 Wing Winnipeg.

Heading into the match, Moose Jaw was 1-2-1 and was ranked fourth out of five teams, while Shilo did not register a loss in four round robin games with a 2-0-2 record.

The finals match will take place on the East field of the Sunningdale Athletic Park at 11 a.m., or in military terms, 1100 hours.
