Central’s Wilson Ntignee powered his way offensively through the Weyburn Eagles in boys high school soccer, scoring four goals in a 6-1 win on Wednesday evening.
With strong play by the Cyclones early in the match, Wilson was able to find holes to make plays and get behind the Eagles defenders.
Wilson opened the scoring early in the game with a close shot that Weyburn’s keeper, Riley Laird couldn’t get to fast enough.
Head coach Mike DeCorby was impressed with the team’s performance in the first exhibition game of the season.
“It was a good start for us,” Mike DeCorby said. “We played pretty good.”
