Former Central Collegiate player, Wilson Ntignee got an honour on Monday. He was named the Athlete of the Week for the University of Saskatchewan Huskies.

The rookie striker scored the lone goal for the Huskies 1-0 win over the Winnipeg Wesmen.

Ntignee came off the bench and made an impact in just 21 minutes. He found the net in the 32nd minutes after a header by Sam Mylymok hit the Wesmen post, bouncing out onto Ntignee’s head for the clear shot into the net.

Ntignee was part of the Central Cyclones boys soccer team that finished third at provincials last year.
