What is the big deal about antique cars?
"They're just so unique. Usually the cars will have such a story," said Regina's Larry Howlett. He is organizing committee chairman for the 48th annual International Antique Auto Meet in Moose Jaw, July 2-5, hosted by the Antique Auto Association of Regina.
As of Tuesday, 152 antique vehicle owners from across western Canada and the United States were signed up to attend the four-day event, which will include two large show-n-shines for Moose Javians to come out and enjoy free of charge.
The first car showing will be at the Western Development Museum parking lot on July 3, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. On July 5, Langdon Crescent will be blocked off for another show from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
