The only guarantee you get when the Peacock and Central girls meet to play volleyball is that it’s going to be a good game.
The two schools monopolized the senior girls city title since 2000 and have had some classic confrontations over the years.
Peacock are the four-time defending city champions, but Central defended their home floor Thursday with a 25-22, 25-22, 19-25, 25-23 win in Moose Jaw High School Girls Volleyball League play.
Central came from behind to win the first game and steal some momentum. They then held off of a good comeback challenge from Peacock to win a tight fourth game.
