There were a couple of hiccups along the way but the Central Cyclones girls’ volleyball team topped Pool D to position themselves well in at the Moose Jaw High School Invitational Volleyball Tournament.
Central won the pool with a 5-1 record ahead of Holdfast (4-2). Peacock was 6-0 in winning Pool B ahead of Dalmeny (4-2).
The top two teams in each pool moved on to Pools E & F in the championship side of the draw.
Kelvington (6-0) and Virden, Man (3-3) were the top two in Pool C, while Wakaw (6-0) and Swift Current (3-3) led Pool A.
Vanier, Riverview and Caronport were all 0-6 on the day.
The tournament will continue all day Saturday at Peacock.
