Central finishes second at girls invitational volleyball tournament

The Central Cyclones advanced to the final at the Moose Jaw high school girls invitational volleyball tournament Saturday before losing to the Wakaw Warriors 25-19, 21-25, 25-19.

Central advanced to the final by beating Peacock 25-19, 27-25 in the semifinal.

Peacock lost the bronze medal game losing 22-25, 25-23, 15-10 to Holdfast.

Central was 4-2 in their pool to advance to the semis, while Peacock was 5-1 in their pool.
