The Palliser Heights Huskies showed they were peaking at the right time as they beat the previously unbeaten King George Cougars 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-20) to win the Moose Jaw elementary boys volleyball final.

“We were definitely playing our best volleyball at the end of the year,” said Palliser Heights coach Ernie Meid. “We had a pretty good year. We had some players missing at different times during the year so it was nice to have everyone play together in these playoffs. We really grew together as a team.

In the bronze medal final Sunningdale beat an under-manned Westmount team 3-1 (25-20, 3-25, 25-20, 26-24).
