Kelvington wins provincial 4A volleyball gold; Caronport earns bronze medals

The Kelvington Golden Hawks won their third straight Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association 4A boys provincial volleyball title with a 2-0 (25-15, 25-11) win over the Oxbow Black Knights Saturday at Riverview.

The Caronport Cougars earned bronze medals thanks to a 2-1 (19-25, 25-20, 25-18) win over Lumsden.

Caronport won their pool with a 4-0 record, but lost 2-1 (25-22, 22-25, 25-20) to Oxbow in the semifinals.

Riverview/Cornerstone finished 2-2 in their pool and advanced to the quarter-finals where they lost 2-0 (25-23, 26-24) to Lumsden.
