After their second place finish in North/South ACAC division, expectations are sky high this year for the Briercrest Clippers Men’s Volleyball Team.
They posted a 7-3 regular season record and got all the way to the provincial finals before losing 3 sets to 1 to SAIT.
But this year, the entire starting lineup minus middle Michael Hasdyk will be returning and is looking not only for a provincial title.
“We’re expecting to go in and win provincials and we’re very capable of doing that with the guys we have returning and the recruits we have,” said Clippers rightside Joel Dyck. “You have a high expectation from those guys because everyone’s back and everyone’s a year older.
“I think we have a lot of chemistry we’ve built over the last couple years with that core group of guys.”
