After placing seventh in the 100m freestyle competition Tuesday, Moose Jaw's Krystal Shaw put in a solid performance in the 100m backstroke at the Jeux du Canada Games Wednesday.
Shaving three seconds off of her best time, Shaw finished just out of the hardware in fourth place.
But she said she's not disappointed at all with the way things are going.
"I'm having fun," she said. "There are a couple of people who are faster than me. But it's fun with people who are faster than you, because you can get motivated . . . and then you can try and beat them."
That said, Shaw isn't fazed by the competition. In fact, she said it's not even the toughest event she's attended.
