The Brandon Spring Invitational is a chance for members of the Moose Jaw Kinsmen Flying Fins to leave the province for a fun meet.
Of course it’s always fun to set personal best times.
The local swim club sent 11 swimmers to Brandon and saw them come back with 38 personal best swims.
“Not only do we have our Summerfest meet here in town, but we take the kids out to Brandon for a two-day meet,” said Fins coach Monty Smith. “The kids love it, the families love it and it’s a change of pace.
“They already enjoy swimming, but this meet lets them enjoy swimming even more.”
Nathan Avery, Madison Coulter, Alex Folk, Mark Froehlich, Matthew Gobbett, Esther Grebe, Madison Jordison, Kendal Paulson and Ethan Runge all set personal bests.
