Candace Savage, author of A Geography of Blood: Unearthing Memory from a Prairie Landscape, published by Greystone Books and the David Suzuki Foundation, was just named winner of the Hilary Weston Prize for non-fiction, worth $60,000, will be at the next Festival of Words.
