MJPS Inspector Rick McKenna honoured

Inspector Rick McKenna with the Moose Jaw Police Service received a Commissioned Officer designation at Government House in Regina on Wednesday. McKenna has been with the MJPS for almost 30 years.

"You don't really think about it until you actually attend the presentation," McKenna, who is a member of the Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS), told the Times-Herald. "But it's the recognition of your rank, being bestowed on you with the authority of the Queen.

"That's a kind of humbling experience. … The more I look at it, the bigger a deal it has become to me."
